Flemish Giants

Flemish Giants are the dogs of the rabbit world! 

Flemish Giants are the largest domestic rabbit breed. They are known for their gentle, docile personalities. Flemish get 15-22bs on average, but some have reached over 26lbs. 
Flemish come in many colors including fawn, sandy, black, blue, white, steel grey, and light grey. 

Flemish Giants have a semi-arched body type, thin fur, and very big ears. Because of their large size, Flemish do not do well in hot environments and if housed outside, they need to be in full shade. Flemish Giants thrive in being housed on the concrete because they are able to regulate their body temperature better, not as susceptible to diseases as they would be if housed on dirt or grass, and their cage is more customizable as compared to a wire cage. If housed in a cage, cages should be built with 14- or 16-gauge wire and be at least 36in x 30in. 

Flemish Giants are very intelligent rabbits. They are easy to litter train, which makes them ideal house pets. They can also be easily trained to walk on a leash and harness as you would with a dog.
